“Italian” Style Tuna Fish – Easy Recipe.

Ingredients:

  • 250g fresh tuna, diced
  • 125g cherry tomatoes
  • 6-10 Kalamata olives
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil
  • Fresh parsley to serve (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil with half a clove of garlic in a pan.
  2. Add the washed cherry tomatoes (quartered), Kalamata olives, and 30ml of water to the pan.
  3. Cook for a few minutes until the tomatoes are soft.
  4. Add the tuna (cubes or fillet) to the pan and season both sides with salt and pepper.
  5. Cook the tuna to your preferred doneness (this usually takes around 2-5 minutes).
  6. Place the cooked tuna on a plate, sprinkle with fresh parsley (if desired), and serve hot.

Serving Suggestion:

  • Serve with a few slices of sourdough olive bread and steamed spinach.
