“Italian sausages, boiled eggs, baked beans and salad”
Ingredients:
- 1 egg
- 2 small sausages
- 2 tablespoons of baked beans in a can
- 1 slice of dark sourdough bread
- Mixed salad (e.g., red radicchio, fennel, cherry tomatoes)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Apple cider vinegar or lemon juice to season the salad
- Olive oil
Instructions:
- Cook the Egg:
- Place the egg in a pan with cold water.
- When the water starts boiling, cook for 8-10 minutes (less if you prefer it softer).
- Cook the Sausages:
- Place the sausages in a pan with a bit of water.
- Prick the sausages and cover the pan with a lid.
- Turn the sausages over and cook until fully done.
- Warm the Baked Beans:
- Warm the baked beans in a microwave-safe cup.
- Add a pinch of salt to taste.
- Prepare the Salad:
- Wash and chop your veggies (red radicchio, fennel, and cherry tomatoes).
- Season with salt, drizzle with olive oil, and apple cider vinegar or lemon juice.
- Toast the Bread:
- Toast a slice of dark sourdough bread (or any bread you prefer).
- Serve:
- Place the egg, sausages, baked beans, salad, and toasted bread on a plate.
